iDance version 0.1

NOTICE: The name "Planet X Software" has nothing to do with the tenth planet theory. I just named it after Mac OS X.

Hello, and welcome to the iDance web site. iDance is a Dance Dance Revolution simulator, downloadable for Mac OS X. Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) is a fun physical game by the Japanese company Konami. In this game, steps represented as arrows raise up from the bottom of the screen. When they align with permanent arrows at the top, you step on the panel that shows the arrow that is exactly the same as the one that scrolls up. And now, you can finger-dance the night away to cool modern songs with iDance.

iDance is not yet completed. When it is, it's going to be extremely basic compared to most simulators, but it's the best I can do. Here is my current progress:

• Scripting: One third done (It keeps saying I haven't defined the variables in AppleScript when I have!).

• Music and Images: Done.

• Getting the steps to scroll up: Not started.

I consider "getting the steps to scroll up" as fifty percent of the project. After all, that's the whole point of DDR! I will probably finish iDance in a little while. Check back soon! Until then, try the StepMania Dance Dance Revolution simulator. It's beyond cool!
